DESCRIPTION:Adas-Behrend Senior Fellowship is a program that provides seniors from the DC metro area a kosher lunch\, social activities\, and Friday Shabbat celebrations. Social activities include games (such as bingo\, scrabble) group exercise classes\, entertainment (musicians\, sing-alongs\, movies)\, field trips to Theater J and museums\, art classes\, etc.  \nLunch and FellowshipSeniors from the DC metro area are invited to enjoy a hot Kosher lunch. Suggested donation: $4.00\, though no one will be denied a meal if s/he is unable to make a donation. Lunches are planned by a nutritionist\, and are low in sodium and fat. We also offer vegetarian options.  \nArt\, Speakers\, and MoreWe also have daily classes in art\, movement\, writing\, plus featured speakers on nutrition\, health\, finance\, and literature. \nShabbatOn Fridays\, the Senior Fellowship offers a Shabbat celebration that includes live musical entertainment sponsored by the Morris Hariton Senior Program Fund.
