Talking Israel: A Yom Kippur Afternoon Discussion On War, Peace, Politics and Policy

With Convening Scholar Robert Satloff in Discussion with: Laura Blumenfeld, Rachel Brandenburg, Aaron David Miller, Natan Sachs, Rob Satloff, Dan Shapiro, Eric Trager, and Tamara Cofman Wittes

Yom Kippur: Monday, September 21 at 3:30pm

As Yom Kippur afternoon turns toward Ne’ilah, a remarkable circle of Adas members — among the country’s most serious thinkers on Israel and the region — will sit together and take up some of the toughest questions of this moment: the war and its aftermath, the coming Israeli elections, the changing contours of the U.S.–Israel relationship, and where the region goes from here.

They won’t agree. That’s the point. Not to debate, but to think out loud, in front of us, in the spirit the day asks for: honest, searching, generous with one another.

Convened by Rob Satloff, they’ll bring the full range of their views and expertise into one room and one conversation.
