Support Group for Parents of Disabled Adults (18+)
August 14 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
This is a drop-in group; no registration required.
Friday, August 14th and 28th, 11am-12pm on Zoom
Parenting a disabled young adult can bring unique joys, challenges, and uncertainties. In a world that is not always designed to support disabled people, many parents experience feelings of isolation and the need for a community that understands their journey.
This support group aims to provide a safe, welcoming space for parents of disabled young adults (ages 18 and older) to share their experiences, offer mutual support, and learn from one another. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the challenges and rewards of supporting their young adults while building meaningful connections within the Adas community.
