Israel Discussion with Nienke Grossman

Nienke Grossman, Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for International and Comparative Law at the University of Baltimore School of Law, and a long-time Adas Israel member, will speak about the recent International Court of Justice ruling in the case concerning Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip (South Africa v. Israel). Topics will include how the International Court of Justice functions, what the Court decided at this stage of the proceedings and its implications, and what is likely to happen next. Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions.
