Hold for Tattoo Maariv Concert
September 26 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us in the Adas Sukkah for a soul and song filled evening prayer experience, in partnership with the Art Over Hate Collective. We will spend the evening with Guy & Gal Gilboa-Dalal, immersed in their “Soundtrack to Survival” is a story of survival, brotherhood, and music.
Kidnapped on October 7th, Guy was the last remaining hostage held by Hamas. While Guy was captive, Gal fought tirelessly for his return. In a particularly upsetting incident, Guy was led to believe he would be released only to watch others go free. In that moment, he managed to secretly get a message to his brother about a specific song that was keeping him alive in his darkest hours. Through Healing Ink, a project of Art Over Hate Collective, that message was transformed into a tattoo carried on Gal’s body. When Guy was finally released and saw the tattoo, he broke down, realizing that the message–and the hope it represented–had made it home.
Through prayer (Festival Ma’ariv), song (acoustic), story, and meditation, we will share the energy of brotherly love and the strength of our Adas community. We look forward to welcoming you.
