Healing Israel’s Fractured Society

Even in the aftermath of October 7, polls show that Israelis are ultimately more concerned about the threat of internal divisions than external threats. Against that background, civil society leaders representing the full range of Israel’s diverse society—Jewish and Arab, liberal and conservative, religious and secular, Ashkenazi and Mizrachi—have come together to explore the challenges of living together and envision a shared future. These brave leaders, members of the inaugural cohort of the KiTov program at the Shaharit Institute, are visiting the DC area, where they are reexamining the challenges they face from a new perspective.
