Conversation with Yitzhak Sokoloff, Israeli Political Analyst and Educator

June 15 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

We invite you for a thoughtful conversation with Yitzhak about the military, political and moral challenges and dilemmas Israel currently faces on the battlefield, in the realm of diplomacy and in the court of public opinion in the United States and Europe. Yitzhak served in the Golani Brigade of the IDF and taught Political Science and Jewish Philosophy at the Hebrew University. Yitzhak speaks widely on the dilemmas of contemporary Zionism and Israeli policy making, and he has worked with the IDF to train its officers to act morally and legally in complex combat situations. During the current conflict he returned to active duty along the edge of Gaza and witnessed the destruction inflicted on October 7th in the days immediately following the attack as part of a unit charged with searching for its victims.
