9:30 AM: Shabbat Morning Service with sermon by Joanne Samuel Goldblum
Joanne Samuel Goldblum is the CEO of the National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN) and the Alliance for Period Supplies (APS). She leads a nationwide movement ensuring access to basic necessities—like diapers and period supplies—so that individuals and families can thrive.
Shabbat morning services in the Charles E. Smith Sanctuary, the synagogue’s largest worship space, are led by our inspiring Rabbis and Cantor. The service includes a D’var Torah and sermon by the Rabbi and often includes participation by members and B’nai Mitzvah.
